The New Grenadier Station Wagon Belstaff Editions
The new INEOS Grenadier Belstaff Fieldmaster Edition is a five-seat station wagon with a great off-road ability, that is the spiritual successor to the old Defender. Furthermore, it has rear doors, a permanent four-wheel drive system, a climate control system, and a responsive infotainment screen, and it comes with a great solid beam axle and driving position, giving it strong off-road capability and ride quality simultaneously. It also comes with a Two-Speed Transfer case, which allows you to manually choose between high and low gear ratios when you need to enhance your control over the vehicle while navigating challenging terrain.
The Grenadier Trialmaster Edition and the Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition, are also based on the Grenadier station wagon. These models focus more on passenger comfort than load space capacity. Providing more knee room for second-row passengers. The Trialmaster has been designed with extreme off-roading in mind. Whereas the Fieldmaster has been designed for those with an adventurous lifestyle. Both editions come with a smooth pack as standard, and the Trialmaster gets both a soft bag and a rough pack as standard. The Rough Pack adds front and rear diff locks, which allows the 4x4’s BFGoodrich All-terrain T/A KO2 tyres to move at the same speed. Pushing equal power through them all, making rugged terrain easier to manage. The Smooth Pack includes 17-inch alloy wheels as standard. It also has a rear-view camera, puddle lamps, power heated door mirrors and auxiliary USB power outlets, Safari windows, and heated front seats, creating comfort while on an adventure.
All Grenadiers are equipped with a 90-litre fuel tank that can come with either a diesel or petrol engine to give you great fuel economy. With the petrol Grenadiers giving you a 18.5 MPG to 21.4 MPG, and 23.9 MPG to 27.4 MPG for the diesel engines. All of which makes it in the top 10, and ideal for driving at good, consistent motorway speeds, high ground clearance, and wading depth, with a good turning circle as well.
While the straight-six engine, steering box, hill decent control, price point, transfer box, blind spot detection and traction controls all make it head and shoulders above others in the pickup truck and SUVs in the commercial vehicle class as well - such as the Ford Ranger Raptor, Mercedes G-Class, or even a Jeep Wrangler.
The diesel variant also utilises AdBlue exhaust after treatment. With the choice of a BMW B57 diesel and B58 petrol powertrain, both with a proven track record, the Grenadier ensures smooth running and reliability in all conditions. The automatic gearbox, combined with ZF eight-speed transmission, heavy-duty torque converter, and a 2-speed transfer case, with its all-terrain tyres, further enhance its overall performance. The reinforced roof with four roof rails can hold up to 100kg, and combined with the 3.5-tonne towing capacity and trailer stability, the Grenadier is truly rugged, reliable, and uncompromising.
